The notion behind 4th world living is to encourage a multiplicity of global peaceful civil action that seeks change through grass roots organization and global agrarian reforms by landless communities. The political issues of growing food are experiencing a resurgence by peasant farmers, organizing around Food Sovereignty and the preservation of Biodiversity, through organizations like La Via Campesina. By learning about the political decisions we collectively make around growing or buying food, we can make the greatest social changes to the foundation of our human culture: the way that food is grown.
